BRETECHE INDUSTRIE was set up in 1988 with the aim of federating a group of small industrial
suppliers of food preparation equipment.

The first purchase of the company was TECNAL and its subsidiaries (TECNAL
INDUSTRIE, COMATINOX and TECMAT SERVICE
) in 1988.

TECNAL specialises in the design and production of chains and equipment for soft cheese makers..

In 1991, with the purchase of CHALON MEGARD, designer and producer of chains
and equipment for makers of pressed cheese and cooked cheese, the BRETECHE
INDUSTRIE Group became one of the world leaders in supplying cheese making industries.

In 1992, following the takeover of NORMAN, the BRETECHE INDUSTRIE Group extended
its activities to supplying equipment for slaughterhouses.

This area of expertise developed in 1995 with the purchase of DURAND
INTERNATIONAL
, world leader in pig splitting machinery.

PILLET, a subsidiary of the TRILLIBAT Group joined the TECNAL subgroup
in 1996 bringing its expertise in the construction of casein factories.

In 1998, the BRETECHE INDUSTRIE Group created the subsidiary MULTIMIXING,
in partnership with the UI (Union of research and investment) and the IDIA (Institute
of development of food industries) of the Credit Agricole Group to takeover VMI and
its Italian subsidiaries (SIGMA, VMI BERTO) and the German company DIOSNA.

With this purchase, the BRETECHE INDUSTRIE Group became the world leader
in bakery and pastry kneading troughs and a major operator in the area of food preparation
equipment for French industry.

In January 2005, take over of the SIMON Company, world leader in continuous butter making process.
This purchase comes to reinforce the BRETECHE INDUSTRIES dairy-cheese-butter
factory pole.

The Group consists today of 9 factorys site in Europe (6 in France, 1 in Germany, 1 in Italy,
1 in Czech Republic).

In addition it includes two trade centers (in Spain and in Russia).
